Thank you for your response. I tend not to adopt a mindset of paranoia when it comes to the phenomena. Though there is a trickster element to the manifestations, it's not a surprise to consider they aren't as invested, or even caring, of the human drama as you might think. The only evidence of this seems to be UFO interest in nuclear weapon facilities. On a grander scale, though, it's much more sobering to realize their indifference. I read a lot of David Icke when I was in my 20s, and though he presents a riveting story, that kind of mythology simply doesn't serve anyone or anything. Much like the ancient astronaut theory, which is captivating, but with little to hang itself on.
The visitors seem to only want to interact with individuals on an individual level. I highly highly doubt governments or intelligence communities have any more answers to the Mystery than you or I do. I happen to think they know nothing about it, which they'll never admit. This is why disclosure has been tantamount to the Second Coming. I wouldn't hold my breath...
If anything, this phenomena, be it lights in the sky, abduction, poltergeist activity, dream visitors, monsters in the woods, etc. address subjective experiences. This is what makes it shamanic. The same way "love" cannot be defined objectively, and is different for everyone, neither can the nature of the visitors. It strongly points to the realm of spirit, natural energy systems that we've yet to understand, and any intelligences that reside therein.
